      I have been working at Saipem full-time

      Pros

      Good work life balance. Not much else to add. Skilled people can be found though. Really nothing more positive to be said

      Cons

      Hierarchy is bloated. No advancement (unless you are italian). Very low salary. Weak compensation (no payment for overtime, no salary escalation). Low resources. Very very political structure, one way vertical management from Milan to overseas structures, very mafia-like. Management do not value people and skills. No transparency.

      I have been working at Saipem full-time for more than 5 years

      Pros

      While project wise the company offers good teamwork and highly competent multicultural and competent environment the head offices are basically a nest of vipers and political laches not worth anyone's time. i pity the young people starting to work in Milan because they not only wont get a chance to experience what is the company's core business but will get sucked into political and intestine wars.

      Pros

      The outstanding level of its people, the possibility of a full immersion i the epc onshore and offshore business

      Cons

      very hard to get inside, you could work in difficult places, perfect job for globe trotters.
