    Lerning offshore in general, huge projects, good cv

    Cons

    Management, you make career only with friends. Stressful, no respect. Italian south environment.

    Pros

    Good salary, good opportunities to learn and grow, exposure to megaprojects, exposure to multinational work culture, identifies your true potential and value and appreciate your abilities and contributions as per tier 2 below.

    Cons

    There are two tiers in company: (1) Italians on top of pyramid like kings (2) Everyone else is slave. Rules are different for both tiers. An Italian will always be your boss even if they don't know anything....just because they are Italian. They take credit for everything good and blame slaves for everything bad.

    Pros

    Was offshore based so saw a lot of varied activities. Training schemes involved good amount of travel and a variety of interesting courses.

    Cons

    Offshore rotation for Field Engineer position was poor. Poor salary in relation to commitment required. Felt undervalued by onshore office.

    Pros

    Very interesting job, learning a lot. Being part of a company which is present worldwide. Multi-cultural company. Complexity of the constructions and operations is very interesting.

    Cons

    Company is huge so any changes are very slow. Lower salaries than in other companies in the same business. Lack of experienced and motivated personel.

    Pros

    Saipem is a multinational company, therefore with a better codes and standards in aiding the jobs . they are also versatile when it comes to oil and gas jobs. it is a good place to pick up new challenges.

    Saipem as a multinational does not pay well compared to other global oil and gas multinationals

    No blaming of people at faults but trying to resolve issues as a team.

    Offshore wages can be quite low. Benefits may be less desirable.

    International Projects and Best way to access Offshore Business

    Cons

    Bad Management, Field Engineer is abandoned in the ship with no contact to the office. Not in touch with project preparation. Rotation very bad. 2 Month 1 Month
