    I have been working at Saipem full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    Good for new joinne as pushover or to relax since work is either there or no work. Good organisation to work if you know to play along the tunes of manager or be an vegetarian

    Cons

    Never stay here more than 5 years. Yearly hike is a joke. Organistaion never cares for ppl who stay long. You are treat like you dont have any other option

    Advice to Management

    Provide uniform pay to all. Device a system. Else you will lose lot of employees who have served for long years to the company

    Pros

    Worked for 2.5 years on regular basis, Good salary one can negotiate, but no increase in salary

    Cons

    Partiality towards local people. I never any other City. Finally I lost my job due to partiality

    Good life with better facilities . A good company to excel the skills and to grow better with it. A better place to learn management skills

    Remote locations, working time on projects, rest of all is great, no more cons exist in it. What else to say if not exists

    Good rotation. At least with bbq party every Friday during summer time.

    Surrounded by very knowledgeable people, used to be a master on their field. A lot of will to do better. Your colleague is a person who think before the action. Several opportunities to have experiences abroad. A good work life balance but also a strong pushing when required. A very wide range of technologies you could learn and professional figures you could be or interact with: an incredible training, if you are lucky....

    The cons of a large, too large Company without a guidance in a period of recession: management does not know what to do anymore. Politics shall support Saipem, but in Rome they just want to be clean, that is: "do nothing, so we don't get impeached".And it is very bad. In lack of deep general guidelines and philosophy, a lot of energy wasted in micromanagement and in the codification of that.

    Advice to Management

    It is like the end of a relationship: have again a long term plan with the Company and the employees and start one more time or just leave and set us free to have new opportunities with somebody else. It is going to be late otherwise. If you wanna play fair in your field, invest in people and in know-how: it will lead to more and more efficiency on the several business units: don't rely only on people's will and in the...
