I have been working at Samsung R&D Institute India full-time

      Pros

Work-life balance more weighted towards life Worldwide reach of the company and your work Wide coverage of possible domains where you can work

      Cons

Low work and hence infrequent under-pressure learning opportunities Lagging 5-6 years behind Silicon valley culture Different worldwide centers and even same office teams competing against each other for HQ's rewards rather than everybody working together

      Advice to Management

Rather than chasing upcoming buzzwords, just focus on how you can improve so many lives given the reach you have!
