I have been working at Sasken full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

    - Employee Friendly Culture and Processes - Employee Oriented Policies and HRs are helpful for aspects, esp insurance related etc - Good Colleagues and nice environment and supportive. - In fact many employees are having long term association o Usually old timers are with exp range of 10 - 15 yrs. o Some are even 20 - 25 + Yrs. in the company - Senior Management and Leadership Team are friendly and approachable and take decisions which are employee friendly. - Have the freedom to and take decisions for whatever is required in your level, esp in junior levels and Managers are supportive mostly. - Working in on latest technologies and standards and diversifying on different domains. - Good Training and Learning opportunities for all, esp for junior engineers’ level - There is a saying as well “Once a Sasians, always a Sasian”, which is really true.

    Cons

    - Career Progression of employees is slow and needs to taken care. - Esp, after PM (proj. mngr) role, progression is very slow. - Salary Standards are on avg and not upto market standards, esp for the old timers in the company. - When compared to lateral hire, existing emps are not even in par with salaries. - Retaining Talents (esp. home-grown engineers) can be looked upon. Also attracting talents as well.

I have been working at Sasken full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

As long as you blindly follow Process, no one questions you for Result. It is like a government organisation - you can enjoy if u have no ambition or spine. If you can get into inner ring of CFO, you can enjoy sadistic pleasures on others. Once in every 2 years, senior industry leaders are brought in from outside, to be humiliated made to dance like a monkey with hands tied and eveyone laughs.

    Cons

If you do anything to increase company Revenue, you are seen as a villian. Process roadblocks are placed in our path if you try to help grow the company. Managers are encouraged to fight with customers and screw employees. Top management is insensitive to what anyone else thinks - no one cares. HR is often asked to go to glassdoor and write good reviews anonymously. Top Management will go to any extent Not to pay the Variable Pay based on performance. 'Sharing of wealth' happens only verbally.
