RecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEOI have been working at Seagen for less than a year
Pros
Fun, fast paced work environment with tons of resources. The company is working on tons of interesting projects. Lots of opportunities to author papers and/or present research within the company. Supportive of personal development and scientific interests of the employees. Good environment for ambitious individuals who want to climb. Contractors are often converted to FTEs after a period of demonstrating good work.
Cons
Dynamics between different teams can be political. Management at the department level and above can be out of touch at times. Some emphasis on individual achievement and making the team look good to higher ups rather than on just doing quality work or on the patient. Contractors are not treated the same way as FTEs.

We're in high growth mode right now which means lots of change. That being said, company leadership is receptive to employee feedback and has a track record of addressing concerns head-on and making positive changes via employee engagement surveys.

Fosters a great work environment and makes you feel like a part of the family. I was also very happy with the food that they had for the employees. Also they hold meetings every Friday to keep everyone informed which is a very nice touch.
Cons
Company is expanding a lot so you move around quite a bit.
