Pros
very nice to employees and great work environment
Cons
not so great pay, sometimes asks a lot
Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback!

Pros
Met some great friends, extra pay for working holidays, decent management--my store director and deli manager are amazing, fairly simple tasks, quick to pick up on what is being asked of you, flexible hours, good pay increases, given the option to learn other departments, I liked being here and there were many days that were a lot better than the bad ones (continued in the cons)
Cons
Can have somewhat negative/toxic work environment depending on the people, fellow employees refusing to help customers, HR did not take serious complaints, when the manager isn't there it was chaotic and others put themselves in the manager role when it was not assigned, was forced to work in/close the meat department because their employees all left one night--I did not know what I was doing, also a huge one: was NOT trained for my department at all!! Continuing off of what I mentioned in the pros: there were many times that the other employees made it not a great place to work--lots of drama, ignoring customers, acting like they are superior to the people in the exact same position as them

Pros
Employee discount program was always nice.
Cons
Where to begin…. After over a decade of employment with the company, I finally broke free from the stress I was enduring on a daily basis. When your Store Director is so incredibly demeaning to you, that you have anxiety every single morning before walking in the place-that’s when I know things change. Playing favorites is the norm here. It doesn’t have anything to do with if your sales are good, or if you’ve been loyal, but how much you suck up to Directors that counts. Leave for a death or sick member in the family, you’ll have no problem having it granted. But be prepared for the fall out when you return, and being made to feel like YOU did something wrong for taking time to grieve, they instead want you to live and breathe for the company, so much that your health and mental well being suffers from years and years of constant stress there. I have also seen and heard of many department directors who have suffered physical and mental stress due to the pressures being put upon them.

High quality product makes employment here easier
Cons
Clientele can be difficult depending on location

You'd think such a nice grocery store would treat their employees better.
9 Jan 2022 - Cashier in Wauwatosa, WIRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Payed above minimum wage, friendly coworkers, non-cashiers including store management would jump on the registers/bagging stations to help during major rushes.
Cons
Disgraceful lack of support for employee health and well-being. Had a policy in place when I was there that required a doctor's note for more than 1 day of consecutive sick leave, encouraging if not forcing ill employees to return before they were well. I ended up with a repetitive stress injury bad enough that I had to quit because I was in constant pain. A friend was injured working there and was misinformed by management about worker's comp rights. Corporate management was very disconnected from reality of store operation and kept putting ridiculous policies in place. Probably the most egregious example: their shiny new rewards system had a bug that allowed customer reward points to go into the negative. Rather than fix this, their response was to require a manager from the front desk to come verify EVERY reward point redemption, causing massive and unnecessary delays. I don't know if this was ever fixed, but it was the case for months and months before I left.

Pros
The coworkers and store level leaders were good and worked hard.
Cons
High level up to the owners operated out of fear based leadership and no one enjoyed working with them or when they would come in. Wife of one of the owners would come in and yell and throw fits, everyone was scared when they would enter.

Great People, Good Work Ethic, Pay and Benefits Ehhhhhhh....
23 Apr 2022 - Commissary Worker in Brookfield, WIRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Work with a lot of great people, days off and PTO are extremely flexible, good atmosphere as whole!
Cons
They claim they're pay competitive, they really aren't. Benefits seem ok (I haven't had them in my time here), but we've had several people quit due to the lack of pay, and the response was a $1 raise across the whole company. There also tends to be a lack of communication between stores and management. It isn't super bad, but when things go downhill, they go downhill. The new medical benefits plan/company also doesn't include certain hospital/medical facilities.
