Wide array of challenging jobs. Great scope in learning and developing one's skill sets. Transparent. Work culture is good at Corporate and Regional Offices.

Sites are are like deprived cousins of Corporate and Regional Offices. Very long working hours at site. 6-days a week. Leaves are hard to get if someone is at site.

Work-life balance and company's culture

Salary mostly comes on time unlike other construction companies, accommodation is free for people posted on project sites. You will not be fired even in recession until and unless you go on long leaves frequently or there is a disciplinary issue. If you get posted in regional offices then you will be saved from the tough conditions of the project site but the site offers more fredom in terms of supervision by the seniors.
Cons
Working time of 8hrs/day is a myth rather there will be extremely tough and tiring conditions with long working hours when you are posted on project sites. On some sites, you may have to work half a day even on Sundays. Your hard work will not be noticed unless your seniors are communicating about your hard work to the senior management in the regional offices and then only you will get a promotion or bonus.
