Shiv Nadar University is a fantastic place to work

There are many pros so to say. Firstly, the research atmosphere the place provides is as per IIT standards. Truly Speaking, this University is much better than many of the newer IIT's. Secondly, you can float something called as CCC course. This course is open to all University students and anyone can credit. Any innovative, thought provoking areas can be modeled as a CCC course. Thirdly, the course load is very flexible as compared to any other Universities.
Cons
The only disadvantage with this place is it's location. It is quite far from Delhi. However, saying that, I must also mention that the campus is more than beautiful. There is no necessity to even go out of campus.

No appreciation for hard work
10 Nov 2014 - Assistant Professor in DādriRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Professional people around, good campus, good seating spaces/cabins provided to faculties, transport support
Cons
Location, Highly hierarchical - still under the confusion of being led and driven by whom - HCL/Shiv Nadar Foundation??? Pathetic Increments, No appreciation for hard work, teaching load and teaching efforts do not count at all(!!!!), unnecessary pressure of research outputs without them providing any financial/infrastructure help & support. Disparity in the salary of many employees. Faculties (mostly from the School of Natural Science and School of Humanities and Social Sciences) who have had absolutely no work for the past three years (except doing politics) are given encouragement and good increments. A very strong Bengali lobby has been created in both these schools, Directors of these schools have been recruiting only Bengali candidates!! Why has the management turned a blind eye towards this fact is beyond comprehension!!
