A great pace to work if you are looking to put in some genuine effort

I'm a successful serial entrepreneur today and it wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for the time I spent at SiliconIndia. I joined as a midlevel employee back in 2006 and in a few months I was promoted as a Product Manager. Initially I was super nervous reporting to the CEO directly and it was baptism by fire and then I got used to it. I worked directly under him for 4yrs and I can never forget those 4yrs. I had the best time, learnt a lot; and then I started up. Even today I'm in touch with the CEO and he still helps me with timely advises. Super happy to have a mentor like him. And for the prospective employees: You want to do something substantial in your professional life, this is the place to be; you can climb up the hierarchy ladder by proving your stuff not by warming the chair for years. This is a place which values effort and skill over grey hair. And don't worry about the compensation bit, they respect the effort and pay beyond the industry standards.
Cons
This place if not for the faint hearted. One can't faff around here. This is THE PLACE if you are looking at genuinely building a career by putting in solid effort. Otherwise I suggest you to look for other options.

Pros
They have super great pay! I don’t know any other company in Bangalore paying that well for the word count. Good editors that help you out. You can very easily complete the slab and make incentives. There are people who bought cars within first few months of working there just with incentives. If you’re there for the money, you’re in the right place!
Cons
The HR guy in the night shift treats you like a school kid. He keeps a watch on you on cc camera all the time. You can’t take a break whenever you want. Even the management doesn’t let him know that it’s a creative line of work and the employee should be allowed to take a break or simply even lie down if he needs as far as the work is done. You’re lucky if your manager is on your side. If you’re in the morning shift, it’s a crowded market! Also, both morning and night is a 10 hour shift including an hour’s break.
