An honest Assessment - The downside of poor hiring in leadership
Pros
Since 2018 the company has been doing some amazing work leading to tremendous growth. The operations team was built keeping amazon customer service in mind. Employees were treated with so much respect, competitive salaries, amazing benefits and culture second to none. The Co-founders were very much involved talking and spending time with emaployees almost on a daily basis treating everyone as equal.
Cons
Fall of the company started post Covid. Fallout between the Co-founders led to desperate hiring by the CEO. He ended up hiring some questionable characters at the leadership level. Some of who were so bad that it sent the company culture back by 3-4 years. The rot has gotten worse lately. There is poor culture leading to mass exodus especially in the operations team. Attrition is beyond control with no measures to fix. Poor HR leadership is trying to blame operations leadership for this. Creating a case to replace them with people from their previous organisation, This is not surprising as they did that in the HR team. Good HR folks were replaced by poor experienced people officers causing chaos in the system. The company culture has unfortunately reached point of no return. It has turned into a decaying matter too rotten for even the lowliest housefly to bother with.
