"One of the worst companies to work for"

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI worked at Simplilearn Solutions full-time for more than a year
Pros
1. Salary comes in time. The incentive plans are good, (Please focus only on the word PLANS) you hardly make any. 2. They have sports competitions once in a while. 3. You can make good friends 4. The parties every quarter are nice.
Cons
Too many to mention, however, would list some of them. 1. The culture is hire and fire. The company has created multiple checkpoints for every employee to be fired no matter for whatever mistake you do. For e.g the review process. Some of the new joiners are terrified that they would lose their job and hence their performance goes way down. 2. Politics: If you have been at simplilearn for some time, you can definitely join politics. There are some teams and managers where almost complete teams run on politics. The best part is that the politics can take multiple shapes, boy/girl, south Indian/North Indian, shoe licker/Non-shoe licker and then comes performer/non-performer. Also, performance is only valid for 30 days, if you do not do well the next day you would be treated like a dog. 3. Managers are funny, no one really has any power to do anything apart from asking for payments. They can not help you do better in your job but they definitely have the power to get you fired. 4. Favoritism plays a big part in everything. I have been noticing everyone in the company, from the very senior managers to the first level. If you are pally with someone, you would be favored. 5. The HR function is a joke. The amount of politics in the HR team is actually more than any other team. 6. The company is not ethical. I know for sure that out of 10 positive reviews on Glassdoor. 9.8 are either written by the HR team or they have forced their friends in the organization to write one. Glassdoor, please use some verification methods to give everyone the true picture. 7. The working hours in sales are horrible. You would have no time for friends and family. The logic is that if you do not meet your target you have to work all 7 days a week whereas when you ask the HR during joining they would say 5 days. 8. All the time all senior managers keep saying its an open door policy. It's all lies, you can not speak to any senior manager by bypassing your own manager. If your manager finds out, your life is going to be hell. 9. Honest advice, even if you are paid a little less and have to travel in traffic, take up a job somewhere else. Simplilearn is not WORTH it.
