    Very fast moving

    Pros

The company is growing at a fast rate and you can see that with all the new customers being added. You will never have a boring day at work because of the fast-paced environment.

    Cons

If you are someone who is looking for an 'easier' job, you will not fit in here. Working spaces can get loud with not a lot of space between peers.

    Prepare for terrible management

    Pros

Not really any that I can think of

    Cons

Horrible management, they talked about wanting to grow their revenue but then forced everyone out that could actually recruit/grow their business. If you didn't suck up to the manager/if you weren't a member of the family, consider yourself worthless. The nepotism was astounding.

    Pros

We have the opportunity for internal growth and advancement that a lot of larger companies can't share.

    Cons

We create our own opportunities. It takes a lot of hard work and perseverance; but if you're that type of person this is another pro.

    Excited

    Pros

This company is on a mission, and it's an exciting time at STL. They have a goal and they are striving to achieve that goal. That includes changing the company culture from a "That's the way we've always done it", to a "Let's strive to do things the right way the first time." With the right people in place, this company has no ceiling. That's exciting. Unfortunately, former employees feel the need to post negative, anonymous comments online. Negative comments are extremely easy to leave when a person can't or won't take credit for those comments. That alone says volumes about that individual. Truth is, they were simply not a good fit for the new culture. Online reviews can have value, but when a person hides behind a keyboard with a mask on, it doesn't accurately reflect the culture. You know how the old saying goes... Opinions are like noses... Everyone has one. This is a very good company to work for. There are many happy employees that are thankful to come to work here every day and are excited about the future. Don't be duped by negative comments from an anonymous ex-employee that falsely and cowardly labels our COO's methods into thinking anything less.

    Cons

None at this moment in time.

New Leadership Making Extremely Positive Impacts

    Pros

New strong and experienced leadership is in place making the day to day operations extremely smooth. This may have been a downfall in the past, but owners have listened to employees and made necessary changes promoting a strong and stable company outlook. From a sales and compensation standpoint, they offer a competitive starting salary and an uncapped commission structure. One of my selling points on leaving an employer after almost a decade to come to STL was the opportunity of higher earning potential for strong contributors. Their commissions are set up to make both the employee/employer relationship profitable as they grow new business and continue to sustain existing business with quality services. The right tools are given to employees to succeed and never have to worry about "red tape" getting in the way of your success or completion of a goal. Management and ownership has been open and receptive to new ideas brought forth by employees from all seniority levels. Overall, having worked with STL as both a client and employee, I have seen some of the positive changes making growth exciting. Going forward it is nice to know that they are dedicated to finding and keeping quality employees.

401k program not as strong as some

    Don't Waste Your Time!

    Pros

Super small company with a smaller management structure, allowing for quick decisions and a more precise scope rather than monolithic companies. Recruiters are friendly and quick to provide solutions to customers, allowing for potential work. The staff is generally pleasant.

    Cons

Lack of communication with the employee that is assigned to the client. If there's an issue, you won't know about it. You'll be there one day, and gone the next. Very typical of a small, meandering company. Recruiters use the same tactics on you that they use on clients . . . get you in, then honeymoon's over. Thankfully I know people and found out the real reason why the contract was released . . . it was an issue with STL. Very little fish in a very large pond. Don't waste your time with this "wanna-be", Successories-cliche-driven company.

    Pros

    - Strong Culture: All team members are on the same page. Everyone that work's at STL has each other's backs and work and act as a family - Growth / Development: There are many opportunities for personal and professional growth. It is a smaller company with big goals!

    Cons

None for the day to day and none for the long term. If you don't have a big drive and strong work ethic, it may not be for you. If you do, it's the perfect place to work as everyone is here to get better and help each other and the company grow.

    Lots of positive change

    Pros

I have been with STL for a little over a year and while there have been many changes, the team has improved significantly. Overall leadership has addressed several critically important areas and the company is growing again. Tools and technology has created accountability for all levels within the company and now employees have the autonomy to focus on achieving results for our customers.

    Cons

Need a better defined 401K match and / or a retirement contribution plan, as a part of total compensation.
