This company has many problems from an employee perspective. I do not suggest working here.
Pros
You get a 10% employee discount on items in the store when buying them.
Cons
Pay is not good. You begin at minimum wage and get no raises ever unless you move into a management position. Schedule is often completely random. Can work closing one day and then morning or afternoon next day. The scheduling is done terribly. You will get scheduled a later shift and leave the store around 10PM and then have to be clocked back in at work at 6AM the next day for a opening shift. This should be illegal there needs to be laws passed against this. It is deeply wrong to do this to employees. There needs to be more time given to employees between shifts. Scheduling a closing and then opening shift back to back is wrong. Since this is retail and you're dealing with the public you will occasionally run into awful customers. Favoritism is a massive problem among management. People who are manager's favorites get much better treatment from management. Everyone understands that there is going to be people everyone will prefer working with, but as a manager you need to be professional and try to treat your staff as equally as possible. Stores are so understaffed that if one person in a department calls out the entire store falls apart. Staff the stores better so this kind of situation does not happen.
