RecommendsPositive OutlookNo Opinion of CEOI have been working at Southwest Gas full-time
Pros
The company is focused on safety of customers and employees. The company has been around for 75 years, and never had layoffs. Getting "SW Gas" on the resumé opens a lot of doors across the country.
Cons
Heavy retirement rate is taking a lot of experienced people, and their knowledge, out of the field. Work load is increasing, leading to constant run-in with deadlines. Health insurance is expensive for what you get.
