I have been working at Staples full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Some of the better reasons to work at Staples: - It's fairly straightforward - Open Door Policy (If you have an issue you can bring it up directly with Management) - Scheduling; most, but not all Store Managers will work with you availability if you're a part-time associate.

    Cons

    - Pay is poor for what I do; most Supervisors in other companies will make at least $2 more if not even $6-$10 more an hour. ($16/hr in Southern CA) - Floor Managers/Supervisors are perhaps the worst role to have in Staples because all of the work-load is quite literally dumped onto you, and you're expected to finish in time frames that are generally unrealistic especially during the holidays when there's higher customer traffic

I worked at Staples part-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

I can't think of one pros working here besides having great coworkers at my location.

    Cons

You can't get 30 hours although I use to work 40 some weeks (part time).. no commissions though they want you to up sell and get customers to sign up for credit cards and bend over backwards while doing it. DMs could care less about employees. They want impeccable sales but only provide enough hours for skeleton crews.
