Pros

Benefits are okay. Work environment is satisfactory You can learn alot about freight forwarding if you take time to study the material given, which is not much.

Cons

First things first. The 5 star reviews for this company are mostly false. Company president and HR tell current employees to write these. Don't be fooled by these reviews. Pay is below industry average. Leadership team looks like that they are not clear about future strategy. Turnover is high. For outside sales representatives, dealing with company president and sales management is a totally nightmare. They have no leadership skills and constantly talk negative about other employees. There is no training structure for new hires and management expects you to get new business right away or they will fire you.

Pros

Freedom. You are permitted to do whatever you want as far as working goes. Company iPhone, Surface Pro and Monitor. Decent sales CRM software. Very nice new sales offices in Marietta, GA, Charlotte, NC, Nashville, TN and Columbus, all separate from operations team in Decatur, GA. Potential for international travel to Far East Asia/China. Full employee paid health insurance, car allowance.

Cons

Untrustworthy. You are tracked on your company cell phone by upper management to make sure you are where you say you are. Unrealistic Expectations. New quotas added all the time with no thought or notice behind it. No Support. Unable to get Atlanta-based management on the phone before 5:30pm. President will pick up occasionally if you are desperate enough to deal with verbal abuse. CEO is never seen. Will blame your lack of success on not being aggressive despite their inability to clearly communicate a vision for the company and a direction for salesmen to work towards. Email is viewed as an unacceptable way of "official" communication. High turnover. I saw over 60% turnover in the sales force during my time.
