There were alot of learning opportunities because of the cross-training on the software engineering side of the house. Monthly meetings were informative about what the other groups in the business were doing.

The direction of the company was going toward one sports news mobile product and appeared to neglect the needs of original customers and did not update requirements quickly enough.
I loved working at Stepleader. It was a very dynamic environment. However, the business started to change and we lost key business because larger companies were taking mobile app development in-house.
Cons
As the company downsized, there was more work for each person to do, and the feeling of security dwindled. It was still a great place to work as long as the business was continuing to grow.
