I have been working at Stifel Financial full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Firm is in growth mode, adding senior bankers, capabilities, and acquiring opportunistically. Cost discipline is not a major focus, though the firm is conservative by banking standards; lifestyle is very good for banking.

    Cons

Firm's reputation as a lower middle market firm is a bit of a hindrance to securing larger mandates but capabilities are all in place to serve clients and move up market.

I have been working at Stifel Financial full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Some people genuinely care about your growth—unless of course, if they’re too busy they can’t help you. Forces you to be a self starter whether you like it or not.

    Cons

Outdated system, slow HR, toxic culture in smaller divisions
