    1. Flexible Working hours that is it.

    Cons

    1. Unprofessional people. 2. Biased Management 3. Worst Team 4. Zero learning 5. Zero onsite 6. Obsolete tools 7. They are working in 80's style. Creating some documents that are no more used anywhere in industry. 8. Following processes, that are no more in use in the industry. 9. Old employees are so much in Comfort zone that thay are unwelcoming and not ready to help their peers. 10. Overall worst experience.

I have been working at Sun Life full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Relaxed work environment Better Work-Life balance

    Cons

If you haven't already worked for 3rd party service provider companies, working in a Captive unit has its downside too. You don't get to experience that work-culture which other MNC have, working for Clients and all, what all technology is there in the market, you are just in some other world, relaxed environment. You don't have to impress them, so you don't have to worry and you don't work your *** off and you don't...

    Advice to Management

Too much difference in salaries at the same level. You should review salaries for employees every once in a while and be mindful of the fact that company may lose out on the talent just 'cause of the money factor. No matter how many employee engagement programs do you have but until and unless employees are well paid, it won't bring happiness and satisfaction to them. An unhappy and de-motivated employee is certainly...

I worked at Sun Life full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Overall the org offers opportunities until band 6... fairly straightforward work where an average person should be able to do work and be successful. Senior management has built a listening organization... which is good.

    Cons

Most benefits are for leadership team. LT can get away from anything very easily. Managers would pick and choose the feedback and manipulate them to their advantage. Travel policies are not in line with global benchmarks. Parent company shows interest to get work done, but doesn't bother much about the day to day nuances and execution... they are usually impressed well by the leadership team.

    Advice to Management

Please have consistency in reviews and processes across organization at India.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at Sun Life full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Good learning of process, less work, not much pressure

    Cons

Working from India is very difficult as the Canadian counterparts are not forthcoming in accomodating meetings at IST, Bad Management as everything depends on the Managers and they can make or break your career. Lots of favouritism

    Advice to Management

Clean up the processes at ISC.

I worked at Sun Life for less than a year

    Pros

Got to work with some of the nicest people I've ever known. Tons of benefits and I learned a lot during my time there.

    Cons

Depending on which department you're in, as a co-op student there were times where I didn't have enough work.

    Pros

Employee benefits are great, flexibility to work from home, easy to progress internally.

    Cons

No support for new hires, expectations can be unrealistic at times, professional roles are under compensated in comparison to the complex nature of the job.
