Cons

Please ask if the role is for their customer's project, the employees for customer's project are treated as cheap labor, as they are making money from you. You won't get high salary, no reward, no increment, no promotion, no growth, no support, they will include you into activities but you will find it's irrelevant to you, they treat you as though you are their slaves. If you can't achieve target even the target is unrealistic, they will terminate you. If you are lucky to have a good team lead, your life maybe better but nothing much can change. Once project end, they will terminate you even if you are a permanent staff. For internal role, depends which team you are in, there are few team deemed as important and you got all the support & resources to do you work, management will force others to complete your target for you as well, and you get to delay and drag your work at the cost of others. Make sure you are the ex-colleague or friends with the management, then you can get in here with higher position, salary, promotion, and what you said will make sense also even it doesn't make sense. No need bother about the skills, knowing them is more important, and know how to "talk". If you don't have this also, then don't ever try to be effective, you will be punished to complete task for others, and no reward for you.
