    I have been working at Synchrony full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

    Great people, decent pay, good infrastructure and continuous learning opportunities. No micro management from the current boss and keeps giving opportunities to develop new skillsets.

    Cons

    Growth should be based on experience. Someone with just 1.5 yrs experience at level 8 gets promoted to level 9 whereas someone with 4 years exp is still a level 8 even though the performance is top notch.

    Advice to Management

    Have some parity when u promote people and set the right expectations.

    Employee recognition, great benefits, some really good people

    Cons

    Find lots of defects but lots of resistance to shifting the focus to the solution

    Advice to Management

    Be more open to seeking creative solutions, instead of simply beating the drum of the problems

    Pros

    Flexible time off when asked in advance, ok health insurance, company tried to make it better but it wasn't enough for employees.

    Cons

    No room for growth, favoritism for certain senior leadership, not following policies and procedures like they should be with HR, low pay, low bonus.

    Advice to Management

    Provide opportunities to lower levels to grow cross-functional to other departments. Reward your employees more with better pay and incentives. Pay attention and make changes when asking for feedback or on surveys.
