    Pros

💸 Industry standard 🏡 Flexibility to work from home has a huge advantage that you don’t waste a significant percentage of your time commuting to and fro from work ⛷The companies website actually says unlimited vacation which means complete do your task and you are done. ⛅️ Less bureaucracy, more accountability, standby support. Cloud based process workflows makes it easy for operations. 📖 Learning support... 🏋️‍♂️ Fitness support 🖋📜 Strong and solid message about company’s vision after merger with Syncsort. Positive business “plan”

    Cons

🔗🔌Recent merger with Syncsort may be disruptive. Hoping for outcomes to be positive

    Advice to Management

💈Surely all has been taken into account. However my advice is make no changes as organisation is at its optimum levels. Play on strength.

    No opinion of CEO

    I worked at Syncsort

    Pros

The pay is above average, and there are some really wonderful people with you in your fight for survival.

    Cons

Syncsort, a company where the only opinions that matter are those of consultants. A place where your age or gender will be used to make a baseless judgement of what you know or, more poignantly, what you don’t know. It is a company that operates lean and mean but still forces out employees to boost the bottom line while overwhelming the remaining employees with more and more responsibilities until they reach the... point of breaking. It is a place where executives ask for honest feedback, but then lecture their employees when that feedback isn’t positive. It is a company who’s CEO thinks that if you don’t like it on the bus, then you should get off. Trust me, this bus is a lemon. You are better off waiting for another, or, better yet, taking the train.

    Advice to Management

Your employees come with a wealth of knowledge from rich careers before Syncsort. Trust and listen to them, and if you can’t do that, then don’t hire them. Staff your teams appropriately, and don’t expect Rome to be built in a day. And for God’s sake, lay off the consultants. If you aren’t careful, they will consult you right out of business.

I worked at Syncsort full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

    Flexible work schedule, great people.

    Cons

Seniority at the company matters more than actual ideas. Unless you've been at the company for 10+ years your ideas will not matter if they're different than what the architects say. Not a collaborative work environment

    Advice to Management

Focus on ideas instead of how long someone has been with the company.

    Pros

Unlimited vacation ( which obviously you cannot use) , the only so called perk which remains on paper.

    I worked at Syncsort full-time

    Pros

Comfortable workplace in general. thanks to the new office.

    Cons

Overworked team with constant fear of layoffs looming. no respect for employees, non-existent profit sharing and benefits. No career progression unless you are a manager. Then you are promoted every year. Its funny there are Senior Directors in engineering without any directors, managers, team leads.

    Advice to Management

None. No point. No one cares

    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at Syncsort full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Engineering team is very good

    Cons

Engineers are expected to work round the clock. Probably the worst company to work for.

    Advice to Management

Walk the talk. CEO talks about work life balance but never trust their words. C level management pushes everyone under the bus.
