I worked at T-Mobile part-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Great company benefits, cares about employees, comfortable uniform, great pay

    Cons

Very competitive, tough sales goals, more concerned about meeting sales goals then taking care of customers needs. Managers under a lot of pressure to put pressure on good employees to meet store goals in anyway possible even if it’s selling people on features or lines they don’t need or want in order to meet store goals. I didn’t feel that i could morally keep working there being forced to sell people these things that they didn’t want or loose my job.

I worked at T-Mobile full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great pay when you get to managemnt level do know you have to work your butt off for it, nothing comes easy Good Benefits, They at least help more than your average sales job so full time and part time receive same benefits, Except when it comes to PTO and Education reimbursement and scheduled hours Management is courteous at best The executive body has a lot they can teach you but you wont get what you need from them in a professional setting its just basic by the book advice that helps no one. Best to talk to them one on one in a more informal setting

    Cons

like any other sales company they are not immune to the pressure that comes from upper management to perform They operate under the guise of great team chemistry but its a shake world mentality and if you cant make the cut you are pushed out in a way that legally protects them and leaves you out in the cold with all their talk about diversity and inclusion. Upper management is still predominantly ……. you know the rest. after a certain level the diversity disappears If you start in sales you're basically stuck in sales no matter how far you try to move up you can never seem to branch off into other parts of the business For all their talk of an open door policy if you dare skip a chain of command your career is done you will spend years here and realized you have done so much and got nothing in return so just pack it up and leave if you have other goals for yourself before you end up becoming Un-hirable (new Un-Carrier Move!) by your next prospective employer because they will ask why you spent so long with that one company and you will need a good excuse
