Nice work culture
17 Jun 2021 - Software Developer in Gurgaon, HaryanaRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Upper management is good. They listen and implement ideas through various surveys.
Cons
No Work life balance. You always need to be on top of your toes.

A company struggling to establish a good FTE-culture, because not heard of it at all
11 Nov 2021 - Software Engineer in Frisco, TXRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
- Decent pay - Good learning, again, it depends on the project/team you are on - Perks like phone discount for employees (now look at the cons and decide)
Cons
- Company is still in contractor mode - giving fly-by-night orders to do certain half-cooked enhancements resulting in poorly planned projects, deployments and overall code quality. - Management from top-down to development managers worry only about sprint velocity (again, contractor mode) without long-term roadmaps!! - You will be surprised to see the level of ego they have - there is absolutely no chance of having a two-way conversation. Again, an impossible environment for FTEs and only contractors from India can survive. - There is 1:1 ratio of people with NO deliverables compared to dev in each team either attending or organizing meetings. - You need to forget about work-life-balance if you are a FTE in the US. Since the contractors have offsite people, if there is a production issue there will be ongoing bridges for 4-8 hours straight and you are expected to be part of it, managers do not care you live or die. The same during weekends and holidays. (oh and did I mention the contractors will treat you like you are a North-Korean spy and hide information from you and do not respond/help)

Good company but...
15 Sept 2021 - Mobile Event Expert in Columbia, SCRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
The company has great benefits. I felt I had more flexibility in the store than on the event truck, however the event truck pay is much better. The overall experience wasn't bad. I had fun and enjoyed my team. Lateral movements are simple.
Cons
Pay could be better(Mobile Expert base is around 13.50/hr with monthly commission and Mobile Event Expert is 22.16/hr with an annual bonus) Work Life Balance is difficult There's currently no career path for Mobile Experts or Mobile Event Experts unless you're willing to relocate. Twice the positions I was applying for got pulled and once I was told in a roundabout way since I was never a Store Manager for TMobile I wouldn't be getting a call back for a position I applied for (despite my 10+ years of experience). If you aren't a Manager, moving up is VERY difficult. They only look at T-Mobile experience for Career Advancement. Higher ups are very politically motivated.

Stressful environment
8 Aug 2021 - Sales Consultant in New York, NYRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
You can make a lot of money Capped commission though They offer PTO School assistance if you need it
Cons
Work-life balance is non existent Schedules are based of business needs mostly Everything is constantly changing in terms of company rules and promotions, maybe even your higher ups and job locations there is a lot of specific things you need to pay attention to so this job can be extremely time, energy and mentally consuming This job has to be done with a meticulous attention to detail or you will mess something up without even realizing Your numbers impact everything you do, in the company you will be measured at every single point of the sale from greeting to closing and I mean this with the thought that you’re not only going to have to be on top of one or three things at a time but EVERYTHING is calculated into a % and Customer Satisfaction is top tier so even if the customer is upset at the company it will impact YOU and your sale directly. Company offers promotions mostly based on tenure from my experience, most people that become managers have told me it takes 5-10 years on average You will take this job home with you (mentally).

Great PTO benefits you’ll never be able to use
13 Sept 2021 - District ManagerRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Competitive pay, competitive benefits and 401k match, discounted cell service but not free.
Cons
ZERO work life balance, expectations to work 7 days a week dictated by redundant work policies which provides no added organizational value. For example: sales numbers need to come from local DMs 7 days a week multiple times each day even though there’s reports that can push that data out. So you find yourself working and scrambling on what’s considered to be your 1 day off. All sales Channels are severely understaffed after mass layoffs post sprint merger. You will be doing the work of 3 people but getting paid as 1. Although PTO is generous, it is only beneficial if you can enjoy it. T-Mobile has a PTO policy which requires consumer channel employees to submit an out of office action plan. If tasks are missed in your absence, you will be held accountable when you return. This policy is absurd, you will need to check in every day during your PTO in order to not be held accountable when you return. Side note: Religious and medical freedoms are being severely attacked by T-Mobile as vaccination is a mandatory condition of employment.

Culture Changed Post Merger
11 Aug 2021 - Enterprise Account Executive in Dallas, TXRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Benefits, innovator, position in market, brand, career growth opportunities, education. Company in general is great to work for, but we have some hurdles post merger.
Cons
Culture has changed after the merger. Leaders are not people first as much as pre - merger. We have gotten so numbers hungry, we have forgotten what we stand for. As a front line rep and lover of the company, that's hard to watch transform. Additionally, leadership encourages taking time off, but there are no solid processes in place to provide coverage so people are still working while on PTO and it's leading to burnout. Work load has increased and with added focus on trainings has affected work/life balance a bit. Perhaps more frequent short surveys to take temperature from the field will help. D&I is preached, but in reality we have a long way to go.

Be Prepared to be Frustrated Frequently
21 Oct 2021 - Software Engineer in Frisco, TXRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
This company is all about inclusiveness and it has a fairly decent compensation package
Cons
This company is used to relying on contractors from India for its IT (at least on the business account side). They are hiring more and more full-time employees, but mid-level management struggles to treat them like employees and not contractors. They also struggle setting expectations that result in proper work-life balance.

Pros
Good benefits and it Pays for school plus the Job isn’t really difficult
Cons
No work life balance No way to get promoted unless you know someone or you’re really good on Twitter Nearly impossible to transfer to a high volume store Even if you’re consistently in the top 20 percent of your store Too much office politics plays into being recognized Commission keeps being cut There are more third party locations than corporate locations and it keeps bringing down business

Great pay, great company, stressful environment
15 Oct 2021 - Retail Store Manager in Syracuse, NYRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Fun, positive environment Commission sales Benefits packages are great (pto, 401k, stocks, tuition reimbursement) Management is usually supportive and helpful
Cons
Zero work life balance. As manager you will be covering all call offs and constantly staying over scheduled shifts just about every day Headcount for staffing is not up to the amount it should be with the number of customers coming into the stores. With the merger, closing of stores, and the constant advertising there are more customers than ever and the same amount of staff as before with no room for open positions.

Pros
Good money when you work hard to hit goals and get your commission. That’s really it honestly. If your up for the challenge this is the way.
Cons
There really is no work life balance even though the company preaches it. You do get over worked at times but it’s up to you to figure out your own time management. Last but not least there are a lot of people looking out for them selves and their circles. If you don’t get on board you will have people hovering over you negatively.
