I worked at TAS full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Got the chance to work across group companies, functions (Marketing, Sales, HR, IR, CSR) & geographies. Got ring-side view of corporate work

    Cons

After 5-6 years, TAS HR Office support is limited and one starts to average out among other employees - Fast-track leadership program ends abruptly.

    Advice to Management

More career support. You hire from the best of the campuses.

    Advice to Management

Replace the efficient people with who works well not speaks well. Some jerks have occupied the influential positions and don't justify it as compared to the salary they are getting for it. A company performance depends on its team work, positive thoughts, next level imagination, capacity to take risk and utmost dedication but not for unlawful politics, misuse of powers. Unless it learn to retain the performing... employees who has been proven an asset rather than keeping the gargbage inside nothing can be changed.

    Positive Outlook

I have been working at TAS full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - Great exposure to some challenging roles within the Tata Group - Senior Leadership connect and mentoring - Fast track progression for high performers

    Cons

    - Compensation hikes are moderate to low after the 1st year, falls to bottom quartile amongst similar roles - Inherent bureaucracy of a large corporate organization such as the Tatas - No clear pipeline for CXO roles, progression depends a lot on being in the right place at the right time.
