    1. Job Security but at the cost of everything else 2. CLA Facility 3. Excellent work life balance for corporate and support functions with office jobs, but poor work life balance for site departments and core functions

    1. No Job Rotation a) You are trapped in the same role for many years b) No transfer/release through Internal Job Postings (IJPs) c) Lack of transparency or ethics in IJPs and Implementation of Job Rotation Policy 2. Bureaucratic Culture, Red-Tapism, Energy Sucking Environment a) Work culture not suitable for youngsters and those who join as GETs b) Too much time and energy spent on politics and gossip c) Employees’ Children and Locals with prior networking in the company have an upper hand 3. Slow career growth a) It takes long time for promotion b) No value addition by doing repetitive mundane jobs c) No cross-functional learning as you’re trapped in a silo 4. Limited Scope for those who joined as GETs from good colleges 5. Mundane, Low Profile Jobs Engineers are given Mundane, Low Profile, blue-collar Operations Roles which are done by ITI guys/Diploma Holders/Technicians in other companies 6. Lip Service to Employee On-Job Safety and Security Engineers are supposed to go alone to isolated substations and carry out mundane physical operations of high voltage switchgear (no assistant / technician / helper is available) Such jobs are done by technicians/line men/ITI Holders in state electricity boards and other companies
