This organization invests in every tier of service and support creating an incredible reputation that has allowed us to increase our share in the marketplace. Technifax not only invests in its clients but its employees as well. You can see from all the pictures that many team building and morale boosting activities are sponsored by the company. This is an incredible opportunity that can change you and your families lives. If you have ever thought that outside sales falls within your skill set I would encourage you to reach out and look into available opportunities.

Cons

Being an outside sales position it is very demanding especially in the Texas summer heat. however your manager and teammates will provide you with a roadmap for success that when followed great success is all but a guarantee! There is a great deal to learn, but I have never come across better teachers. You have to be willing to really dig in and invest more of your time in the beginning than a regularly 8-5 gig but if you do the rewards and benefits will far out way!

Management and service team LOVE the clients and go out of their way to help them. Money is thrown at you at every turn - with competitions here there and everywhere and TONS of incentives! LOADS of chances to earn more than you ever have for those willing to work hard - I KNOW! :) Personal service that goes a LONG way. Being from another country, this is my family away from home. :) After only being here for a few months and working hard closing some awesome deals, the CEO promoted me. He believed in me when none of the larger manufacturers would and a year later I made the $MILL club and President's club - AGAIN. For those that work hard, you will find people here that will help you anytime you need help. The team is the BEST. At Technifax, they unclipped my wings and let me FLY! :) Just what I needed. HIGHLY recommend for anyone that is willing to work HARD. :)

Coworkers. The service team, admin team, and sales reps are very nice and hard workers. If it's anything keeping this company afloat, it's their ability to choose good workers.

Worked here for a year and wanted to get out on month one. They market about being a "family oriented" company but that is far from the truth. The President even said the first time I met him, "How are we family oriented? I am one person that owns this company. Not a family." First of all, the President is disrespectful to employees. He yells, demands, and threatens as if you aren't a human being. People say he's "gotten better" than how he was before, but he's still pretty cruel sometimes. Sales managers cower under him and follow his old-fashioned managing strategies. Second, If you don't already know how it feels to fear for your job everyday, you will if you work here. Working hard isn't enough. Third, What you read about the fake Glassdoor reviews is true. They asked me over and over again to post a good Glassdoor review, and I did.

Pros

I've been working with Technifax for two years now and would not trade this experience for anything. I have gained skills and confidence that I was previously lacking. The company has a tremendous potential for growth and employees are always learning new techniques and skills. On the job training for all departments is continuous and challenging. The training programs are innovative as well as practical. There are many annual company activities and traditions that help boost moral and connection between coworkers. Close interaction with multiple departments is a great plus for learning about the industry. Great work is rewarded and praised. The senior staff is knowledgeable and invested in the company and its success.

Cons

This is not a cushy desk job. It is hard work, and can be stressful. You have to be determined and concrete in your desire to advance and achieve what you are wanting. There is great pressure to complete projects on time and efficiently, but if you manage your time and work load effectively, you will be hugely successful. This is not a job that will baby and coddle you, they will always push you to better yourself and your work.

Pros

Technifax is a positive environment that is fully supportive of growth. Learn your role and take initiative to go above and beyond and you will be successful. The money, the recognition and leadership is the reward. Taking pride in your work is key and listening to management directive to adapt quickly and effectively is spoken promptly to only further ensure your success. Simply put, standards are everything and our company demands the best only to develop an even stronger team.

I have not found any cons that are atypical to a business this size. If you like corporate structure or enjoy cutting through red tape (I'm not sure who does!) to push change then I would say that this is a fast paced environment not fit for the rigid minded professional. Laziness or lack of initiative is NOT rewarded, the over achievers get all the perks. At the same rate, the under achievers have all the time to complain.

Pros

The only pro to this company is that, like the majority of the staff already does, you can use your time "cold-calling" in your territory to goof off. That's normal around there.

Cons

The training is minimal and scattered. You work 8 to 5, but are expected to stay after 5, whether you need to or not. The Owner of the company is a complete jerk. It's just a matter of time before his archaic sales practices drive the company into the ground. There are almost no resources for help when you're new. You just have to bounce around from person to person to get questions answered. They have a really high turn over rate for a reason here. A typical sales company is going to have that regardless, but this one is higher because the company is poorly run. They promise you that you can make money here, but don't buy into it. You can work hard and make 65.....maybe. The leadership has no problems talking poorly about employees to other employees. On the other hand the team you work with is great! The management is a circus. Don't waste your time. There are a million companies that sell I.T.

- High turnover: This comes with the profession. You hate to see people leave, but no matter what company you work for there's going to be turnover in sales. - No 401k matching

Pros

Company has been in existence since 1987 so it is stable and the formula for success created by the owner is proven. Very good training (hands-on company, manufacturer, peers, etc.) along with somewhat of an old school 'sink or swim' approach really weeds out the wannabes from the serious go-getters. Work hard, do what is expected, and you can have a long and successful career. Many benefits outside of normal commissions. Quarterly trips, President's Club Trip, and other monthly contests or SPIFFs.

Cons

Sometimes the atmosphere and culture of the company is disrupted and/or effected by executive management. Working in middle management can be more stressful than other places because of the incredibly high (sometimes impossible) demands of the owner. That being said, if you are meeting the demands, nothing to worry about. If you have thin skin and do not want to work hard, do not apply -- they don't want or need you.
