I have been working at Telstra full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    - Flexible work policies - Competitive pay package

    Cons

    - This is a software service organization (not a product company), though the recruiters advertise it as a product company. India teams work for business teams in Australia, who treat Telstra India teams same as other partner teams like those from Wipro, Infosys, etc. In fact, partner employees get to travel onsite to Australia, whereas Telstra India permanent employees don't! - No own office in Pune. Everyone works from partner locations like Wipro, Infosys. Lots of network and IT issues very regularly due to being on partner premises and using laptops given by the partner company. - The company hires and then due to a sudden change in direction, has no work for the experienced new joiners. A lot of time and effort is spent in finding billing for everyone. - Chaotic structure with every manager having many reportees across locations. So, they cannot spend much time with anyone.
