    Major player in Fintech
Provides ample learning opportunities on the job.
Creche facility is available which is reliable.
    Safe place for women
    Good set of leaves

    Cons

Work is demanding. It is stressful at times as deliveries are committed and scheduled.
Work from home is launched recently. But that doesn’t alleviate the stress.

I have been working at Temenos full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

At Temenos, We always had a positive environment for work and one's personal growth in career.

Working here for a period of 6 years i have a lot to speak for the organization of how i have seen the changes come to live.

    > No matter which department, there is always Team work and colleagues help each other to the fullest to meet the deadlines.
    > We have a WOW(Welfare of Women) Team to support the women working in the organization where we have sessions on a regular basis held from great achievers to boost up the confidence and motive towards a positive work environment.
    > In competition to the WOW Team, they have started a MOM(Men on Mission) team to make sure they are also no less than a team :P
    > various sports activities will be conducted on an yearly basis, it always takes our time off the work and puts us on a competitive sport ground.
    > REgular campus health checkups to help employee keep a track on their health.
    > our Annual day is always the best cause we dont just celebrate one day a whole month goes for the celebration where we play various indoor games and have events where employee participate making it a huge success every year.
    > unlike others say abt rationalization and partialityin the organisation.. i wouldnt accept it! if you really have the capability the company always helps you to grow up the ladder and they give you enuf challenges helping u to grow more.
    > The challenges we are put into which have helped ppl to grow in the product level and also improve their mgmt skills. so if a resources is really hardworking and fast learning they would love to work here.
    > Training provided here are the best i would say. its upto the resources to make use of that knowledge.
    > pressure of work will always be present no matter which MNC company we work, but here pressure comes with lot of learning and better solutions is what i have seen.
    > regarding leaves, we have 36 in number. you just have to inform ur team way ahead of any long planned leaves. It is always approved.
    > any emergencies the company always stands by the resources to recover and come back.
    > best of the lot i would say is they care for women safety at the top most priority, no women is allowed to stay in the company premises post 10:00. if it is needed the manager approval with the transport details have to be taken care and informed to the HR prior.
    > Many would always wonder on salary, i would say with the current growth of the company. you just need to work at your best.. the salary falls in place for you in no time.

    Cons

we always have CONS in every organization, but here if any realistic cons are reported to the HR they evaluate how it can help for all the resources and try to bring them in a span of time.
these are a few of them
        > Day care facility
        > a better cafeteria
        > work from home
        > they helped resources with car pooling within organization and with external facilities
        > safety awareness for women

    Advice to Management

    > Being a product based company, we are sometimes more engrossed into only the product development and hte employees miss to have the exposure towards market trends and technology updates
    > More Recognition to celebrate trivial achievements should be started to motivate employees

I worked at Temenos full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Salary while joining can be demanded high.
    Company within city limits (chennai).
    Unlimited biscuits.

    Cons

    1. No work life balance - you will end up working 12-14 hrs a day, with least appreciation.
    2. There is no breathing space, half of the time will go with area issues rather than focussing on your original work.
    3. School like structure in the management , where they set up daily calls to answer why it failed and who did the review. incase there is any failure in their environment, though its only internal.
    4. There is no scope of switching teams, even if you ask you will only be judged and targetted for asking team change.
    5. Literally school environment where if 2 or more colleagues talk for 5 mins in a place the manager runs to you or pings you to pin point that you are being watched..CONSTANT SURVEYILLANCE.
    6. The HR here has no power, its all with the top management people. Even if you complain about anything in your team , news spreads like wild fire. No confidentiality policies in the HR.
    7. No email ettiquette for the managers, the words used are so rude.
8.Despite of having many leaves you cannot avail.
9.Only ppl who are in the organization for the past 10-15 years get to enjoy all the benefits - bonus , leaves.
The above points are common for any team in Temenos, not particularly to one.

    Advice to Management

Please arrange for some email ettiquette training for your higher managers.
HR should be vested with more authority to take decisons.
Please make a policy of not allowing employees to stay more than 10 hrs in the office. You do have a track of their in and out times.
Try finding out the root cause of the attrition rate.
    Better canteens please.

I have been working at Temenos full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

It is such a relief to have the daycare facility in the office premises. The tie-up eased out on the financial burden too with company taking the major part of it. The tie-up is a timely benefit which helps us, working mothers.
Regarding the facility at daycare the atmosphere is too good and very good team of teachers and coordinators in the daycare who keeps our children involved with extracurricular activities.
A thumbs up for this women friendly initiative by Temenos!

    Cons

I cannot find any Cons in the facility provided.

I have been working at Temenos full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    - The company is rapidly growing and moving towards digital transformation with a focus on cloud and AI-based technologies, a lot to learn if you are in the right team/technology. If you end up working for a product team, there are good chances of becoming an SME and that knowledge will carry forward even outside the organization.
    - Good Work life balance
    - The short-term incentive is a good initiative as it does not impact the gross payout and eliminate the Variable Payout which previously impacted the CTC.

    Cons

    - Medical policy needs to improve, no cashless facility
    - Limited or no work from home option, depends solely on the line manager

    Advice to Management

    - Management needs to value talent and reward loyalty
    - Should allow employees to undergo external technology training

I have been working at Temenos full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Working at Temenos is great. You'll always have people around to guide you and give you feedback. Work-life balance is amazing. The work that you'll be doing is very structured and is probably the best in the banking software domain.

    Cons

It is a difficult place to adjust to if you're a North-Indian and you've been given Chennai location. There are no places for indoor games like Table tennis that most workplaces have. The cafeteria is not at all good, most employees get their own lunch.

I worked at Temenos full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

None that i could think of, except some good people who keep on trying to change the company's ways but are unsuccessful always.

    Cons

Recongnitions are phony. People were awestrucked seeing some people getting recognition.

Very much region biased management who have prenotions, that late hours in office is equal to high performer despite people browse sitting late.

Despite being a product company, no one cares about developing the product, everyone has 'its ok' attitude.

Worst situation for people joining after march, one day delay and you have to wait till 2 years for a hike. But they will be the one who does most work.

Trying to retain freshers through Bond of 2.9 years. No clear goals, no objectives, no definitive hierarchy, No challenging work.

    Advice to Management

Being a Product based company, even though you have the hold over market, but not caring people and not upgrading yourself as per the current market way of working would push good and performing people away which might be the demise of the organization.

Like Jeff Bezos said "No company is going to go on forever, just that where you are investing to postpone the FALL defines how long you will stay in Market"
