    Positive Outlook

I worked at The Mill full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Surrounded by some of the best talent out there, it can be a wonderful place to meet some great people and learn from them to become a better and more well-rounded VFX artist!

    Cons

It's steeped in advertising culture; it has crazy long hours, often stuck on god-awful soul-sucking projects between one or two gems, weekends and all-nighters often become the rule, not the exception - especially during the pre-Superbowl season

    Advice to Management

Be better about recognizing young talent and rewarding with positive feedback, opportunities for growth and salary raises. Be more understanding that personal life sometimes needs to come first. At the end of the day, this is just advertising

    Pros

Have made some of the best work in my career. Amazing work environment that is anti-ego and has a well rounded culture that supports collaboration.
