Cannot beat the residual income structure. Low cost start up. Leadership promotes a healthy culture, encouraging work/life balance.

Can be a rollercoaster, since sales is a big aspect of what we do. There also is many demands for the franchise owner, requires balance and emotional stability.

Pros
No income cap if you work hard and continue to grow. Lots of personal growth opportunities with leadership roles to move into. Flexibility in your calendar (don't have to ask anyone to take vacation time). Franchise support through the company is solid. The work/life balance can get off if you don't manage your schedule well. Leadership roles can also throw this off since you are balancing more, but if you are just running a magazine, then it should be pretty simple to have a good work/life balance.
Cons
You must be self motivated to do this job and willing to always be learning and growing. Lots of details to keep track of in this type of business. Most of people's struggles are their own mental blocks they let get in their way. Must have mental toughness and some grit to get out there because you still get a lot of no's in sales along the way. Cold calling is also tough for some people to take.

Getting the publication off the ground takes hard work however once in print, consistent activity, to a lesser degree, will sustain it for a long time.

Pros
N2’s culture is the best I’ve ever experienced. Coming to work is like going to school with your best friends. Everyone is willing to help each other when needed. Leaders are always open to suggestions to help the company grow and improve the culture. There’s no micromanaging which gives you a sense of responsibility and encourages you to go above and beyond for the company. I love that N2 is faith based and that they encourage financial literacy, healthy lifestyles and focus on a healthy work/life balance. Advancing and changing roles within the company is always promoted at N2.
Cons
There are really no downsides to being employed at N2 Publishing.
