Cons
-3 people in this department have quit in the last 2 months and almost every person in the department has been interviewing elsewhere, we are not a big department to begin with, turnover for new employees in this department is very high -Gossip between management about their own employees is ridiculous and childish and should never have started in the first place, please learn to keep it professional in the workplace -Sick days are heavily punished, you are expected to pay for a doctor's note every day you have the common cold or throw up or have a headache, despite them not allowing you to work from home to prevent others in the office from getting sick. As a result, people inside the office are constantly getting each other sick. Employees in this office have recently been put on a 30-day probation for going to see their family member on their death bed. Other employees were given a verbal warning for missing work for a medical condition they have been vocal about since they've started working here despite providing a doctor's note -They promise in interviews that they only promote from within and that everyone starts as a Tier 1 agent, and yet they bring on new managers instead of promoting from their already excellent and knowledgeable talent-base. They do not appreciate their current employee's past experiences and skillsets -Management is emotional, buckles under stress, and is extremely hands off. Very difficult to communicate with and work with and takes out emotions on their own department. Recognizes that a lot of people in this department are upset but refuses to pull a meeting to talk about it and see what can improve -Severe lack of support from other departments to the point of direct ridicule from them -Upper management is unapproachable -Chooses a single target for low morale to make an example out of, refuses to believe the entire department (both shifts) feel this way when we all mutually agree and have tried to communicate this with management before taking to writing reviews -Training process for current new hires has been difficult and it is the expectation of regular agents to train them on top of doing their own work, they should promote a training manager from within if the current managers and director of this department are unable to train new employees themselves. We have already lost our last set of new hires and only have one person of the current set left -Live shifts are often back to back and difficult to manage like this for only one person. Responsibilities should be evenly distributed throughout the full department -We should not be expected to be at our desks during construction, we are capable of working in another portion of this office or from home so we should utilize that when there is dust in the air from walls being broken down, loud power drills and metal working right next to our desks, lights flickering on and off with hammers pounding while we are trying to communicate with customers. It is not a good look to customers and it has caused health issues within the department, including coughs, migraines, and colds
