WARNING AVOID! Adelaide uni sport!
18 Jan 2023 - Sports Administrator in AdelaideRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Female manager is extremely un professional, lacks empathy and emotional maturity and needs to go. All the good staff have left. 9 in 4 months!
Cons
Everything to do with the manager. The demand and rudeness caused mental health issues for staff members and there was absolutely no care taken to resolve it. So many False promises. And zero accountability for her actions. There was always a reason why it had to be her way or on her terms. CEO also has favourite staff. The company sounds like a dream job, but it’s absolutely far from with the current female ceo. There’s absolutely no reason anyone should go home and cry daily. However she really didn’t care.

Division of External Engagement was toxic
8 Jan 2023 - Anonymous EmployeeRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Worked with some wonderful colleagues
Cons
Where to begin? Unreasonable workload, rampant understaffing, high staff turnover, dishonest and manipulative behavior from management, lack of learning and development opportunities. At the drop of a hat new projects would be dropped on already overworked staff, on the whim of the University's senior leadership. Managements only attempts to improve poor workplace culture was to decorate the office with more plants and throw the occasional morning tea. Many people either resigned or were made redundant in 2022, and judging by the number of jobs still being advertised in the DEE management is struggling to employ people in this toxic workplace.
