    Pros

This organisation is a great place to bump your resume...u can learn a number of technologies and get exposure to all the latest trends

work from home and infinite sick leaves are great positives

Appraisals are good...10+ % on an average

parties and extra fun and cool environment to work in.

the brand name is good and boosts ur resume profile to a very high point...

    Cons

*I was in Gurgaon office so particularly for GGN office:

Its a chaos run company...no direction in particular...

the level of politics is extremely high...There is no hierarchy system thus groupism, favouritism, bias are prevalent...a few top notch people have formed the govt and they practically rule the GGN office...u can only survive if you are in their good books

appraisal process is damn opaque...anybody would be confused after hearing their process....though they show it as a point of pride...but damn opaque...

whatever the hr tries to sell you, its fake...cutting edge technology and all is damn lies...its all small time projects and not much advanced stuff...

the sick leaves and wfh are available, but if u avail them, then its raised eyebrow against u...and it can take serious turns for ur journey in TW

Based on its legacy name, it has reputation...but its slowly converting to a body shop...

    Advice to Management

reshuffle the managements, bring some direction and reorganise the process...else its just legacy name that you are playing with..

    Pros

Super awesome culture, very open environment, you can talk about anything be anything you want here. Awesome Agile teams. Great offices, food, ( they have a lot of healthy options too), games (pool, tt, etc). There are decent amount of travelling opportunities as well.
You'll find genuinely good and honest people here. At TWs honesty and ownership is very valued.
Truly self organising teams, teams work with the clients almost like a startup.
Virtually flat hierarchy, your views and opinions and preferences actually matter here.
You'll find some grreat minds here, peopl who actually care about the best intrest of the client.
    Really a people's company

    Cons

Quality of work for some of the projects is not that great.
At the end of the day it's a service based company, so you'll not find the most technically challenging work all the time
Not the paymaster in the industry

    Advice to Management

Continue to hire people who are TWers in true sense, TW is great for it's culture, preserve it as much as you can.

I worked at ThoughtWorks full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Brand Name, Brand Name, Brand Name

    Cons

    Where do I start from?

    1. It's the most shallow organisation unlike how the world perceives otherwise. The folks are stuck up and don't embrace laterals at all!
    2. Small sized projects reflects the maturity of the offerings, the longest tenure projects are about 12/24 months. The team nor management are prepared to operate medium and large scale accounts but brag/hide fallacies and practices by claiming the existing brand name and insane billing rates
    3. The processes are so flawed, they hire resources for increasing headcount and soup them into accounts which has no relevance to their prior skills
    4. The management in Bangalore is biased and overlooks every concern of the laterals and threaten them with feedback sessions than resolving. Very unapologetic and HR won't respond to any emails/pings unless it's your exit email
    5. The good folks for which TW was TW have either quit or disappeared, few handful who are empathetic will relate to your problems and hostility but are helpless
    6. The learning curve is almost nil except for dealing with bullish attitude of the folks. And it disappoints furthermore to be part of the agile practices followed here

    Advice to Management

It's too late to change anything or make it better, laterals should not be hired unless the organization has equal opportunity for tenured and lateral folks.
