Pros

The work is far more interesting than the retail software problems that I've worked on before. There is a lot of shared code, so engineers are working for a common goal rather than in silos working on individual customers. Best Agile and engineering practices are actually followed. The people are friendly and supportive. Friday afternoons are for training courses. It's fully remote.

Cons

I had no idea how much there would be to learn about buses and their software. It's going to take years.

Great position and working atmosphere

Pros

Great postion and management good to work with. Teams collaborate well even with remote working. Employer who genuinely cares and benefits etc are always favourable. transparency is key and they will be open about company decisions

Cons

Lots of projects on the go and communication between departments could be better.
