    No opinion of CEO

I worked at Tiffany & Co. for less than a year

    Pros

Good Benefits especially for a seasonal position. Fast paced environment and easy to learn pieces and collections. Excellent training program- Spent a week in their corporate office learning their POS System and company culture.

    Cons

Hard to gain respect if on the younger side. Stuck in a time warp. Employees were a tad cliquish and not welcoming towards seasonal employees.

I worked at Tiffany & Co. full-time for less than a year

      Pros

High class professional place to work.Decent pay. Great managers and staff. You have to dress up everyday so looking cute and business professional was fun. Never had a rude costumer. Most costumers come in ready to buy and spend $100s-$1000. Easiest commission to make here. Famous people shop there all the time. Unbelivable discounts. Overall, an amazing company to work for.

      Cons

Very political. If someone doesn't like you, they will not split your sale. Also, I was only seasonal. I wish I could have stayed.

I have been working at Tiffany & Co.

      Pros

Opportunities for advancement! Product training and business education.

      Cons

Lots of product knowledge necessary to sell in fine jewelry. A Graduate Gemology degree is highly recommended for success.

      Advice to Management

I wish there was a better bridge between Sales Professionals and design. The Sales Professionals are on the battleground and know exactly what tools they need to fight. Designers should spend one day a month as an SP.
