I have been working at Tiffany & Co. full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great employee discount, getting to work for a LUXURY brand. They are creating a culture of feedback, which is great. It really helps upper management and regular employees connect and learn how they can improve.

    Cons

Non existent HR, little to no vertical mobility in any field. For a LUXURY brand, you think they would offer great benefits packages, pay at least the industry average, but the company as a whole really lacks in that aspect.

I have been working at Tiffany & Co. full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Employee discount in store and the online store is always a great deal. Tiffany gives 8 weeks paid time off for new fathers, 12 weeks for mothers. Insurance is ok, no real issues with what is offered. Pay is good.

    Cons

Local management cares more about selling than about its employees. Customer is always right is an unofficial moto. Customer survey is king. They give you sick days but punish you for using them with a points system. Vacation doesn’t roll over to the next year. High stress for sales professionals to make goals every month. I’ve applied for other positions inside the company and was more or less told no because I didn’t have “experience”. They suggested I leave to get that experience and come back a couple years later. Didn’t want to promote and train from within.

I have been working at Tiffany & Co. full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Great employee discounts and excellent onboarding training with their training manager. High pay for seasonals. Some SPs and Ops are pretty nice and helpful.

    Cons

I would have given a negative star to senior management if I could. Senior management treats full-time and seasonal employees very differently. They are not thankful for anything you do, and gives bad attitude to seasonals only all of the time. Senior management team is a complete power troll, who does not understand the word "respect". They try to make you feel uncomfortable and stressed out at all time. Extreme micro-management, does not trust you for anything you do, and is not willing to help/teach you anything. There is absolutely no inclusiveness, management excludes seasonal for everything possible. Senior management gives unreasonable attitude towards seasonals and says NO to seasonal employees only but not the full-times. They are for real low-key bullying seasonal employees, which should never be allowed. Also makes assumption and disrespectful comments about clients coming in/calling the store. They also have extreme low EQ, and does not care about the feelings of seasonal employees. Pretends to be deaf and avoids problem. It is obvious that no one has a say for the senior managment team's behaviour. PLEASE AVOID THE OAKRIDGE LOCATION AT ANY COSTS. RE-CONSIDER YOUR DECISION BEFORE ACCEPTING YOUR JOB OFFER.

I have been working at Tiffany & Co. full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Potential commission and bonuses Employee discounts

    Cons

Commission depends Of the percentage of the goal you sell each month, goals are high and without a client base most months very difficult to reach, so you only make 1% which is barely anything. If you leave for training, vacation, sick leave the goal doesn’t get adjusted (it used to and l was hired with term) Let’s say you have a great month and get paid 3% for your sales a month, and something big you sold it’s being returned for an exchange at the same value next month; You get a charge back at 3% and if the current month you aren’t doing well (so getting only 1% commission) you won’t get any money until you even out what you owe, even though they spent the same amount with you at the time of the exchange. Sold something for 50k, got paid $1500, chargeback $1500, new commission $500 The transaction costs you $1000 So you could be paying that back for months and get only paid the base. You have to be standing for 8 hours

I have been working at Tiffany & Co. full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The only good thing is the employee discount

    Cons

    - company does not appreciate employees, no work life balance - People left the company (either fired or found a better opportunity) and the company does not fill those vacancies. The ones left have to pick up all the work with no salary increase or compensation. - No bonus - No career advancement opportunity at all. Because you are given too much work to do. Of course, you are unable to excel since it's way more than the workload you can handle. At year end review, the company use this against you and give you a bad rating. Thus, you do not get any salary increase nor bonus. - Overall, it's a terrible place to work at. Please expect nothing when you work there. - Culture is really bad as well.
