I worked at Tiffany & Co. for more than 3 years

    Pros

Good benefits and work/life balance. There are a few good people there to connect and work with. Chance to learn how to work in a fast paced company.

    Cons

Toxic immature environment, backstabbing and throwing people under the bus. Management definitely plays favorites. There are employees that are favored and get away with not doing their job and there are hardworking employees that are not favored that get put down and treated terribly. The work demands are unorganized. It’s an established company that is trying to stay relevant but ends up making the work life an awful experience with all the confusion. A lot of employees end up disappointed in less than a year after hire. Not much growth, promotions are rare.

    Advice to Management

Be more professional in the work environment. Teams are too divided and siloed. People that verbally abuse their subordinates should not get away with it. There is a reason why turnovers come in big waves. Too many employees feel undervalued.

I have been working at Tiffany & Co. full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Work hard, be flexible, be accountable and you'll do well. Overall strong team Good benefits, annual reviews, open door policy and management is amenable to conversations about concerns and feedback Good pay, good benefits Lots of opportunity to try on new tasks and responsibilities, to lead and improve

    Cons

Operations department is pulled into almost every area to cover and support -- but when operations needs more support (ie: man power), it can be disregarded. Rude clients but there are always rude clients. Retail hours to support stores Diversity is desperately lacking in management

    Advice to Management

Don't overlook Operations! Wouldn't hurt to bump up salary

    Pros

Tiffany is good environment and has nice co-worker. Actually there is good benefits also like as employee discount. Hourly pay is not bad also. It is easy to parking if work at the ala moana shopping center

    Cons

I had hard time to remember all of product knowledge like as the location of stocks and different design. Also it has to send New York Tiffany for fixing or extending of length etc.
