Pros

The kids and parents are about the only pros of this job. The insurance benefits are ok, but you pay and arm and leg.

Cons

Owner, corp, and directors. This job is absolute a joke. The harder you work the more they treat you like trash. They don't care about the kids or employees. They let staff abuse kids, and the feed the kids slop like if they are pigs. Food is ration because they are concerned about waste and cost. So if you are a 1 year old you get a half slice bread to make a sandwich with. If child is still hungry you can't feed them anymore and including out of there own snack box. This place only see these kids as $$. Many time I have been given moldy bread to feed them or told to cut around the mold. I never in my life would feed them that. I made sure that I always save extra frozen food from other days in case this happen. Parents are told what management want us to tell them. If we step over are boundaries or complain you get treated so badly to point they try to get you to quit. If you are not friends of management then you are nothing. This company has such high turn over it because management not the children.

Pros

Working here you build relationships with families and their children and that is the biggest and most rewarding part of the job. Watching the children learn and grow makes you as a childcare provider feel great knowing you were apart of that.

Cons

This place is an utter joke. You are not paid as much as you should for the amount of work you have to do. I don't mean working with the kids either. If playing with them fits into the daily schedule then great but the cleaning sheet is a mile long and expected. This place is not about the kids at all. The owner sees the kids as dollar signs and not the great kids that they are. Owner makes frequent trips in but is all hell bent about the hallway being clean and doesn't care if kids are crying. Shes so self centered and rude. Half the time she doesn't even know the staffs name! It once was a fun place to work yet then she went crazy and fired the ones who cared. After that it all went downhill. Turnover rate is terrible for teachers are unhappy and management doesn't care.
