Pros
Just as the headline says, the moment you look at this as a "job" and not as a career of building your own business...you're dead in the water. The entire time I've been here I haven't seen one person come through who truly has put the work in not make it. But putting the work in is hard. It requires you to wake up at 445 in the morning EST and work til 7pm at night. Yeah the job requires you to work 8-5, but if you really want to make it you need to be there way before then. Just think about it, if you're just starting to make calls by 9am, 10am, etc...your prospects/customers have already been working most of them for about 3 hours by then. You need to be there to get them early when they are experiencing problems with their current guys they are using....and unfortunately that's not going to be at 10am in the morning. So you put long hours in yes, and you bust your butt to get to that level of success...but when you do it's all worth it. I see a lot of reviews on here about favoritism and "all the good accounts are gone", that's bull. Even if every single member of management hates you...if you're busting your butt and bringing them thousands of dollars...they will keep you. You will be rewarded. You're there to make money and if you want it to come working an 8-5 schedule, just quit now. Because you don't want it bad enough. The money is there though for those who want it and are willing to work like they've never worked before. This has easily been the hardest I've ever worked in a job, but it's also been the most rewarding job I've ever had as well. The reality of you being able to make $200,000 and $300,000 (or even more) a year is a very real possibility, but you have to put in the work.
Cons
Work life balance is hard. If you have a family, it is hard. They have to understand that at least for the first 2 years or so, it's going to be long hours and you dedicating a lot of your mind to this job. So if you're content with 35k a year and you would rather just spend time with your family and have something that is comfortable during those first two years, go work somewhere else. This job isn't for you.

Pros
incredible training, tons of responsibility, opportunity for growth, opportunity for commission, great work environment When you work here, you receive 6 months of extensive training. Half way through that time you are responsible for building your book of business. If this doesn't work out, there are often other opportunities within the company.
Cons
poor job security, long hours. If you fail to build a quality book of business, you'll either have to take on a more clerical position or you won't make it at all. You have to really hustle here.
