Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI worked at Transamerican Auto Parts full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
The RRSP plan is decent
Cons
• Drinking on the drop by store managers • Excessive drinking and drug abuse in the shop during, and after store hours (staff and customers could get severely injured or killed) • The managers will sabotage your work to create reasons for write-ups • They regularly forgo provincial and federal laws to screw over the employees • The manager's motto is "take their money first, then worry about getting the parts" • Managers sell and steel warranty parts for their personal benefit • They will threaten your job to force you to work overtime

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookNo Opinion of CEOI worked at Transamerican Auto Parts full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
- Excellent employee purchase program, but then again, you're also paying to customize your own vehicle, in hopes that it will promote their products and services. - Does allow for better than average work / life balance. - Excellent 401K program.
Cons
- Changing targets for hitting commission payments. - Inability to be price competitive in certain markets. - Parent company owns several brands. Account Execs often find themselves competing with vendors who purchase from Transamerican Wholesale at rates cheaper than if buying internally. - Very poor management at regional and national levels. - Very negative environment which trickles down from top of the organization. - Either prosper in a market that thrives, or starve in a smaller market that may not be open to the products and services offered by DSI. - If you interview with this company, they will show you phenomenal earnings numbers based on reps who are in very strong markets. Actual numbers will not be consistent numbers they will show you. - Often change course of what is the "new focus". They will pump up a promo or program and beat everyone up on it daily, then abandon it as if it never existed. - Very accusatory environment. Almost a feeling of "You're never doing enough".
