Poor culture for developers

Pros

- Work on many different projects - Projects often align with good moral outcomes (no gambling apps) - Fun people

Cons

Try to take the good reviews here with a grain of salt, they were nearly all directly in response to a single negative review. - Very poor project management pushing blame onto developers, and lacking trust in them - Next to no approach for learning and development - Appalling resourcing issues, with no one taking any responsibility - No career growth opportunities unless they scale up in the future or you have been there for years - Extremely high turnover for a small company - Cliquey culture and nepotism - Low quality outcomes due to a lack of pushing back on clients - Once very flexible in terms of hours, working from home etc. but became very strict without giving any reason FWIW much of this may have changed since my time there, as a lot of people have departed.

A great culture and loads of flexibility

Pros

A huge amount of trust to get the job done my way. A huge amount of flexibility in terms of hours and working from home. The ability to get involved in all aspects of the business, not just my own domain. We work hard, but have fun as well. Really supportive leadership team. Really agile - whenever we come up against a problem, we think of really innovative ways around it as a business. I've referred several friends in, which I wouldn't do if I didn't love it here.

Cons

Just the location for me, but it's worth the long journey to get here.
