Pros

1. Work-life balance 2. Some good team members to work with 3. Cross-cultural collaboration 4. Some Tech and Non-Tech managers are real talent to work with. 5. Timely Salary and Vacation time

Cons

1. Travelopia once had 26 brands, and now, in just a year, only a few are left 2. They will fire you without any notice and same day, the reason will be cost-cutting. 3. Unnecessary expenses every time the global teams come to India, like 2-way flights and accommodations for that week for all the employees working out of Bangalore. 4. 350+ employees in India, and hardly 15 people come to the office on average in hybrid mode. 5. Great Place to Work is just a word on the wall, no longer the vibe. 6. The interview process final rounds are max rejects; they don't need skill fit, they need max team fit or only if the 2 leaders like the candidate. 7. In India, hiring decisions are not global as per process; it is mostly in-house decision-making in the final rounds, with the 2 leaders ultimately. 8. A lot of vendors are in place, and a lot of hidden transactions go unnoticed and undocumented, which is never healthy for any organisation.

Thank you for your review. Whilst we’re happy to see your positive reflections, we’re disappointed to hear of the Cons listed. We are proud of the positive culture at Travelopia and our global talent hubs, which is reflected in the exceptional engagement scores received globally year on year as well as awards received within our India talent hub such as Great Place to Work as well as India’s Best Workplaces for Women. We would be happy to further understand your experience if you can email the Group Functions People Director directly on laura.tait@travelopia.com.

Thank you for leaving a review, it is appreciated! I agree with all of your "pros"; however, I am disappointed to read the claim that there is no job security, as this is not a reflection of our reality here at Travelopia. It would be helpful to understand your feedback and reason for this comment, so please reach out to discuss in confidence. Leon.Brett@travelopia.,com - Regards, Leon Brett, HR Director

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We’re pleased to see your positive comments on pay and culture, as these are both areas we work hard to get right across our teams. We’re sorry to hear, however, that your experience with management did not meet expectations. We aim to provide consistent, reliable leadership and clear communication, and feedback like this is important in helping us identify where we need to improve. As a global organisation, we continue to invest in developing our managers to ensure they are well equipped to support their teams effectively. We appreciate you sharing your perspective and wish you every success in your future career. Regards, Leon Brett - HR Director - Travelopia
