      Amazing Culture

      Pros

President Ben Dollard is delivering on his commitments and the brands are best in the industry. People benefits are thoughtful with surprise wine showing up and floating holidays. Flexibility and support through COVID has been outstanding. Constant communication from the C suite is the norm so everyone feels like we’re delivering together.

      Cons

There are a couple of tenured employees who are used to “old ways” of doing things and don’t have the best attitudes but they are very few and vastly outnumbered by positive dedicated people.

Ridiculous company with poor and incompetent leadership team

      Pros

Working location is good. Benefits are quite good.

      Cons

      1. Incompetent leadership team is the main reason the company is going all the way down these years. DON'T EVEN TRY TO DENY IT. All the marketing team did from past few years for branding is producing gift boxes, doing OOH and some boring offline events only to please distributers and importers. BTW, some certain agencies or suppliers are really hard to work with in terms of poor execution or terrible planning ability, but TWE worked with them for so long. Someone may need to check that up. 2. Every department is doing their own thing. Not even once that all marketing team worked as one team to carry out one campaign. Brand team is doing OOH, event, investing celebrities, while trade/digital/EC team just use the assets and that's it. and everyone only cares about their own channels. 3. Leadership team only likes those who kisses their rings not those who're able to work hard for the company. It's a time-wasting place for those who wants to learn more and evolve. 4. I think there're more cons, but I can't remember at the moment...

Company in transition to hopefully something special

      Pros

Many passionate employees that really care about the company and doing good work. A fun industry in general

      Cons

Has been run like a regional entity with little to no autonomy/specialization for various global regions. Not a strong track record with sticking to a plan long enough to see results.

      Sycophants thrive. Dysfunctional senior managers

      Pros

Excellent best-in-class wines. A lot of really lovely, intelligent staff work at the coal-face.

      Cons

There are many senior managers who are very autocratic and use fear and throw critical barbs to secure their agendas. As a result there is this secondary layer of staff who butter up to managers to get ahead. It a very toxic environment. Despite TWEforShe my team was a real boys club. Women in my team were not invited to strategic meetings but sent arbitrary e-mails to complete tasks. Even if they were subject matter experts their input was not sought, nor were they given context around the tasks they were ordered to complete. Site tours for VP's were given by favoured males and the female team members would advise him on what to discuss as they did the work.
