I worked at Trinchero Family Estates full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Had to relocate out of state for family reasons- great company culture, creative environment and will greatly miss the people I worked with in California / TFE.

    Cons

Had to relocate out of state for family reasons, but the earthquakes, wildfires and rain season isn't something I will necessarily miss about California.

    Advice to Management

Keep expanding the great Creative Services department!

I have been working at Trinchero Family Estates full-time

    Pros

Trinchero is a growing organization that is maturing its IT organization for the digital world. Because of this, it is a great time to be a part of the team, getting to work on exciting new technologies.

    Cons

Because the company has grown quickly over the past decade, there are still some organizations and processes that are not scaled up yet and can make it a little more difficult to get things done.

I worked at Trinchero Family Estates full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Friendly environment and coworkers. Absolutely treat employees well. If you need something, they're more than accommodating to try and get it for you. Benefits retirement were both above industry standard.

    Cons

Chance of additional pay (ie bonuses) wasn't really there, nor were raises. Management didn't dive too deep on training, and was often vague on initial expectations. Department system was no good. Because some people were used to something, it wouldn't change; even though it may have been the wrong way to approach things. This would make it difficult to adapt to the way things operated, impacting the work of others.

    Advice to Management

A full look at departments structures should be addressed, beyond just one or two employees.

    "Change Needed"

    StarStarStarStarStar

    • Senior Management
Former Employee - Anonymous Employee in Saint Helena, CA

I worked at Trinchero Family Estates full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Some of the employees very friendly

    Cons

Management non-responsive to issues brought to their attention; 'good old boy' mentality is allowed to rule on some teams as managers ignore it.

    Advice to Management

Managers and senior executives cannot always be counted on to provide an accurate picture of a department's health. How they relate to and communicate with upper management and how they relate to their teams are completely different.

I worked at Trinchero Family Estates full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Family oriented environment. Coworkers are helpful and willing to go the extra mile to get the job done.

    Cons

The hiring process is an absolute nightmare. Managers and HR do not communicate with each other effectively. Contracted HR have no idea what they are doing. This was an extremely painful process. It almost turned me away from the job offer.

I worked at Trinchero Family Estates full-time

    Pros

Access to a few beautiful tasting rooms in Napa Valley.

    Cons

Corporate. Management who has been there "too long" contributing to a single focused agenda. Employees not able to review their managers. ZERO work/life balance. Expectation to be in your cubicle from 8am-6pm with resistance to mobile working environments.

I have been working at Trinchero Family Estates full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Family oriented, generous profit sharing, beautiful location, stable infrastructure, constantly re-investing in company and employees, innovation is a top priority

    Cons

Though the company pays very competitively, the cost of living in NAPA is insanely expensive. The office is growing and the company is seeing tremendous growth however current building and office situation is less than ideal

    Advice to Management

    Casual attire.
