I worked at Tufts Medical Center full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    Benefits, insurance, paid time off

    Cons

Most of the center is old and run down behind the scenes. It’s nasty having to share a bathroom with sick patients.

Current Employee - Registered Nurse in Boston, MA
    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook

I have been working at Tufts Medical Center full-time

    Pros

Transparency through the covid-19 pandemic has been really good, they definitely keep us well informed.

    Cons

Administrative leadership doesn't come to the units or the bedside to know what it is actually like to work there. Leadership also feels caddy at times, there are definitely favorites in play and what seems like subtle bullying for people who "rock the boat" too much. Staffing is always an issue with every unit, it feels like no one has enough. It's hard to get new staff because HR is very slow and behind when it comes to applications. It's usually easier to refer a name to the manager and for them to then ask HR to find that application.

  10. "Great company to work for!"

    4.0
Former Employee - Registered Nurse, BSN

I worked at Tufts Medical Center full-time

    Pros

The nurses all look out for each other from my experiences

    Cons

Staffing can be a bit tight- high turn over in CNAs.
