I have been working at US Citizenship and Immigration Services full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
Dynamic place to work, intellectually challenging, making a difference in the lives of immigrants and soon to be citizens, congenial place to work,
Cons
Pay does not keep with high cost of living in expensive metro areas, HQ management has unrealistic expectations as to how many cases can be completed with the tools given. Unrealistic expectations by management that puts pressure on staff. Meager bonus for high performers.

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI have been working at US Citizenship and Immigration Services full-time for more than 8 years
Pros
Most of the employees at every office are terrible so it’s easy to look good by comparison and move up the ladder rapidly.
Cons
All the employees are terrible. Management could care less about your well-being and the agency has been in a free fall for half a decade. They’ve taken away almost every single benefit they offer employees and most recently almost laid off, ok “fUrLoUgHeD” the entire work force. It’s a horrible place to work full of horrible people only interested in climbing ladders. They will do whatever they are asked by political winds which means committing crimes sometimes.
