Very relaxed atmosphere. Very family oriented and they pay very well. It also gives me an opportunity to do a very important job training young officers.
Cons
They are kind of idiots about not letting prior law enforcement carry firearms on base. Very frustrating that you can carry a firearm everywhere in the U.S. but not on base. We teach officers to respond to an Active threat situations all over the country but they don't trust us to have firearms so that we could respond.
