      Pros

Young employees with average age around 28. So people are more helping compared to aged people who are more towards own goals focused

      Cons

Only perks available are flight benefits and nothing else

      Pros

I work for United because of the flight benefits I receive. If it wasn't for that, I would never put myself through the trouble. Pay is ok, but not worth it. This company trains you from day 1 to feel as if they're doing you a favor by hiring you for one position, then make you work all departments they possibly can. Without extra pay. The job I was hired for I only work less than 25% of the time. With the pandemic I understand they are cutting corners, but they have been doing that for all the years I've worked for them long before the Coronavirus hit.

      Cons

Stressful, no downtime, confusion between departments - even supervisors This job will suck the life out of you if you're working full-time. You may be able to work remotely, but after an 8 hour day of constant stress, you will not feel like doing anything else. No healthy work/life balance.

This airline isn't worth your time because you're definitely not worth theirs

      Pros

      - Sending back the badge and laptop was a breath of fresh air - Technically flight benefits, but only if you get off the standby list ;)

      Cons

      - Can't protect their employees or customers, but you know that from the news - Too competitive with other airlines that it affects employee benefits - Rude gate agents and flight attendants which really puts a damper on flight benefits - In the pricing/revenue management department, your career development is based on how many fantasy football leagues you're a part of - Managers/senior managers are mostly inexperienced and have quite an ego. They care about pushing themselves forward more than promoting the people they lead so they delegate the useless stuff to the lower levels - Promotions are dangled in front of you. Run, hamster. - You are just a number to them. Your own director may not even know your name. - Overall very toxic culture

      Pros

As you work your way up in senority, you are able to bid on better lines and possibly have holidays off. Flight benefits are a perk. Can trade workdays with coworkers. Pick up OT to make more money.

      Cons

When the weather is bad, the operation can be very stressful. Too many people trying to figure out a solution to one problem, can cause headache.

      Pros

      Cons

like any big company some times you get lost and once you get to the higher levels you have to wait for people to leave before being promoted

I love my flight benefits! I have traveled more of the world than most have ever dreamed! Other benefits such as medical, 401k match etc are great as well!

      Cons

Industry swings due to pandemics, terrorist attacks. The cyclical up's and down's can be stressful.
